Jani 🌻 A little background on reiki... Reiki is an old and trusted energy-healing method, which can be used on its own or combined beautifully with any other treatment modality. Reiki can be directly translated as "life force energy" or "universal energy". Not based on any religion, it is a hands-on method that one can apply on oneself and others, to address physical and emotional issues. The practice of reiki can greatly enrich one's spiritual journey. I feel honoured to share the gift of reiki through teaching - to enable people to help themselves and others through turbulent times.

Next Friday the 8th of April's theme is one of those that are deeply ingrained in the psyche of society..
"The Fear of Moving.." It has many names: The fear of failure. The fear of success. The fear of standing out. Of causing ripples. (that might upset or disappoint others!) The fear of shining brightly. Of taking bold steps into the unknown. Of following your dreams. Even the fear of thinking up a dream! The fear of committing to your dreams... I'm sure you can add a few more fears, plus ‘very valid’ excuses (!!) that keep you from 'moving' or going after what you want in life, of following your heart’s passions. But as we all know.. the price to pay for not following our dreams is usually a high one.. it could lead to frustration, unhappiness, stagnation and just feeling down.. emotionally and physically. And that BIG Q: Just what exactly is the purpose of life....?! Each of us has things that make our hearts sing with joy.. which serve as way-pointers to a fulfilled life - of living life to the fullest, and ultimately to the gifts we can share with the world around us. But sometimes we find it hard even to follow the ‘meaningless and small callings' of our heart, like pottering around in the garden, or with a paintbrush.. “There is just no time” for this.. These small things actually have immense power, as they open our soul “ears” to the deeper, quieter voice inside.. that will lead and guide us to our bigger dreams and passions in life.. and our Life Calling/Purpose. But past failures and the ensuing fears could hinder us from listening to that voice within, and from going out and fully partake in the game called Life! These fears could be from childhood, the way we've been brought up.. belief systems that leave no room for playing and dreaming. They could also originate from deeper traumas in our ancestors’ lives, like wars, starvation, the loss of loved ones, etc, etc.. We sometimes lack just a bit of courage to follow through on our dreams with drive, motivation and the belief in ourselves: that we can indeed make it! The ‘fear of moving’ is ultimately the fear of expressing our Self.. Join me next Friday for a distant session on the ‘fear of moving’ - Let’s shake up this world by freeing ourselves and putting our unique gifts and dreams out there with confidence and trust! Let’s make space for the voice within, and take bold steps toward being our own true selves, which is what the world and our soul needs most! All you have to do to reserve your place in this freeing-up session, is to eft the amount of N$200/€20 per person and email me the receipt. Families of three or more only need to pay N$600/€60 for this session! :)) I will do the session next Friday afternoon, with the intention that it will reach each individual at a time that is most appropriate for him/her - it could be immediately, or later at night while sleeping! Have a beautiful, dreamy day and weekend.. Jani. xx Ps. As always with these sessions, I will work with the general energy of the group, before tuning in with each individual and staying with their blockages until they dissolve. Group sessions are super powerful, but the same ‘rules’ apply as in individual sessions - the recipient only receives as much healing energy as he/she is ready for and can handle at any given moment. I believe that there is a great power that lies in celebrating events like birthdays and religious festivals. They contain a power that can transform, if one celebrates them with awareness and appreciation of their deeper meaning.
Christianity claims the Easter egg as a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Just as the chick hatches from its shell, the risen Christ emerges from the empty tomb. “The hard shell of the egg symbolizes the sealed tomb — the cracking, his resurrection,” said the Rev. Tom Williams, pastor of St. John the Theologian Orthodox Church in Rapid City. Eggs were used as symbols for nature’s annual rebirth by various societies for centuries before Christ. Some say the word Easter is derived from Eostre (also known as Ostara), an ancient Anglo-Saxon Goddess. She symbolized the rebirth of the day at dawn and the rebirth of life in the spring. The arrival of spring was celebrated all over the world long before the religious meaning became associated with Easter. The egg and hare(bunny) were symbols of Ostara representing fertility and new life in the Spring. The date of Easter is determined by the first full moon occurring in Spring in the northern hemisphere; it can fall as early as March 22 or as late as April 25. This means that Easter isn’t celebrated at a set date each year, but is a movable festival, determined by a particular constellation of the stars which, according to Rudolf Steiner, “unites earth and man with the worlds beyond the earth”. The following is an excerpt of a lecture he gave at Easter, 1920 in Dornach, Switzerland: “The only possible way in these days for man to unite a right feeling with Easter is for him to direct his thought in this connection to the world-catastrophe of his own time. For in very deed a world-catastrophe is upon us. I do not mean merely the catastrophe that happened in the recent years of the war, but I refer to that world-catastrophe which consists in the fact that men have lost all idea of the connection of the earthly with that which is beyond the earth. The time has come when man must realise with full and clear consciousness that supersensible knowledge has now to arise out of the grave of the materialistic outlook. For together with supersensible knowledge will arise the knowledge of Christ Jesus. In point of fact, man has no other symbol that fits the Easter festival than this — that mankind has brought upon itself the doom of being crucified upon the cross of its own materialism. At bottom, it is arrogance and pride that find expression in the materialistic view of the world. It is human pride, manifesting in a strange way! But man must do something himself before there arises from the grave of human materialism all that can come from supersensible knowledge. The very striving after supersensible knowledge is itself an Easter deed, it is something which gives man the right once more to keep Easter. Look up to the full moon and feel how the full moon is connected with man in its phenomena, and how the reflection of the sun is connected with the moon, and then meditate on the need today to go in search of a true self-knowledge which can show forth man as a reflection of the supersensible. If man knows himself to be a reflection of the supersensible, if he recognises how he is formed and constituted out of the supersensible, then he will also find the way to come to the supersensible.” Easter is the spirit of rebirth, of continual life, of the love and the message of Jesus that means much more than whether any of the Bible story around Easter is historically true or not. The true meaning of Easter? Find it within and celebrate it! Celebrate all expressions of joy, new life and spiritual growth however they manifest. Even if Easter has no meaning to you at all.. just another day. Another day is the most beautiful of miracles. Celebrate every minute of it however you feel called to, and allow and rejoice in others however they feel called to celebrate theirs! Have a beautiful, relaxing and meaningful Easter weekend:) Jani. “A happy life is just a string of happy moments.
But most people don’t allow the happy moment, because they’re so busy trying to get a happy life.” - Abraham-Hicks I will do this session on Friday, the 29th of January, in the afternoon (with the intention that it will reach you at a time that is most appropriate for you, be it immediately or later at night in your sleep). The only thing you need to do is to reply to this email with your and anyone else’s name you would like to gift: as simple as that! No putting aside any time for the session, or even thinking about it! Here are the details of what will be addressed in the session: All subconscious self-sabotaging programs of happiness, i.e. believing I may not or cannot live a happy life; I do not deserve happiness; I may not be happier than my parents; I have closed my heart to happiness as I am scared of then losing it again. All these negative belief systems and blocks (of which we are usually completely unaware of, as it is deeply imbedded in our subconscious!) will then be changed into new positive programs, i.e. Believing in Happiness; opening up to happiness and joy, and inviting it into my whole life and all facets of my being; believing that I may and can be happy; that I deserve to be happy; that I may be happier than my parents and ancestors etc. (and more things that might come up while doing the session) Immediately after the session I will send out feedback to the participants, on how it went, and on anything else that came to my attention that needed to be transformed. I am super excited and can’t wait for Friday’s Happy Hour session!! ;)) How I will go about the session: I will write down everyone’s name so that I can have it in front of me. Then I will tune into all the barriers and blockages* that are in the way of experiencing true joy and happiness, giving it the space to dissolve. After that I will tune in with every individual on the list, to see if there are any specific energetic blockages or physical tensions present in them that are related to the theme. I will focus on these until they have been released from the system, or feeling lighter energetically, and then tune in with the next person on the list, and so on (your system will dictate how much healing energy it needs). After this I will reprogram the subconscious with new positive belief systems.** And all this for the give-away fee of N$200! Fill out the contact form to sign up, and you will receive your dose of Happiness tomorrow afternoon! :)) Ps. for those of you who still have some reservations about distant healing, here is a link I came across of a website that provides information and links to scientific studies done on the effects of distant healing and prayer and research into essential issues such as whether a person’s focused intention can have a nonlocal effect on another who is at a distance. http://www.noetic.org/research/projects/compassionate-intention-prayer I believe in Healing as a form of Art.. embracing the totality of Life and Being.. By listening intently to every aspect of one's life and being, it opens up channels to the body's own innate Intelligence, which will then guide the whole healing process in powerful ways, taking sessions to deeper levels than thought possible, incorporating all possibilities (Life is endlessly creative and unlimited!), whether by unwinding movements, visualization, dialect, directly targeting areas of tension with energy healing, deep relaxation or directly resolving issues stemming from the past with psycho-kinesiology... It is always a truly beautiful and amazing, magical process when guided by the body's own inner wisdom and intuition. What an immense privilege to be able to partake in clients' sacred journeys in returning to optimal health/God/Self, inner peace, freedom and liberation from all that's holding us back from living fully.. I feel deeply blessed and filled with absolute awe and gratefulness during each and every healing session! Thank You... |
